FACULTY OF LAW in association with Mansfield College
Grade 10a: £43,745 - £58,739 p.a. plus college housing allowance, currently £7,620 p.a.
The Faculty of Law in the University of Oxford and Mansfield College, Oxford invite applications for a permanent Associate Professorship of Civil Procedure, to commence 1 October 2014.
The postholder will engage in research at the highest level, contribute to teaching in the field of Civil Procedure, supervise, examine and undertake administrative duties. For the college, the postholder will provide undergraduate tutorial teaching in two core undergraduate law subjects, share pastoral duties, organise teaching, participate in the admission of undergraduates, and be involved in the running of the college as a member and trustee of its governing body.
Applicants must have a doctorate in a relevant subject, or an established record of accomplishment in legal research; a record of high quality research and publication, and potential to produce further significant output; the ability to provide excellent teaching at all levels, and supervision and research leadership for doctoral students; the ability to play a major part in developing the faculty’s research and teaching programme and to present research findings effectively; and administrative and pastoral skills.
